关于地图
Kāvali Map Poster & Print
Kāvali lies in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, on the flat coastal plain that runs along the Bay of Bengal. From above, the town forms around the major highway and railway that link Chennai with the north, and both cut through the area as long, steady lines. The streets branch off them into residential areas, and farmland and water tanks surround the town.
The town serves as a trading and education centre for the surrounding villages, and its position on the main transport corridor has shaped its growth. The coast lies a few kilometres to the east. There the land meets the sea through low beaches and backwater channels.
A Kāvali map poster shows a town organised along transport lines. The highway and railway set the axis, the side streets branch off them in short, dense patterns, and open fields and tanks fill the space around the edges. It is a clear, restrained composition that suits a place many people know as home or pass through on journeys along the coast.
