关于地图
Kiselëvsk Map Poster & Print
Kiselëvsk is a coal-mining town in the Kuzbass region of southern Siberia, near Prokopyevsk. Its map is unusual: rather than a single compact centre, the town is spread out in separate districts, many of them originally built around individual mines. Between these districts lie large open-pit workings, spoil heaps and industrial land that break up the street pattern.
The town grew in the twentieth century as part of the Kuzbass coal industry, one of the most important coal basins in Russia. Open-pit mining has reshaped the landscape around it, and the pits and waste dumps now form some of the largest shapes visible on a map of the area.
A Kiselëvsk map poster tells a story of industry and settlement. The neighbourhoods appear as clusters of streets, some regular and some winding, connected by longer roads across open ground. The contrast between residential detail and the broad, empty areas of the mines makes a stark, memorable composition in black and white.

Large open-pit workings and waste heaps sit between and around the districts, appearing as broad, empty shapes that dominate parts of the map.
Connecting roads
Long roads link the separate parts of the town and lead toward Prokopyevsk and other Kuzbass cities, forming the main lines across the composition.

为什么选 Kiselëvsk
一张有意义的地图
For people who grew up in Kiselëvsk or whose families worked in the mines, a map of the town carries real meaning. The title and subtitle can be written with a family name, a district or a date, including in Russian.
The scattered districts look strong in Noir and Classic black and white, where the mines become clear open shapes. Blueprint gives a technical look, while Sand and Paper feel softer. The coordinates line can be set to any part of the town.
