Wide, straight avenues cross the city at right angles, organising the entire plan around a few strong lines that meet near the civic centre.

关于地图
Seversk Map Poster & Print
Seversk lies a short distance north-west of Tomsk, on the Tom River in western Siberia. On a map it is clearly a planned city, with broad straight avenues, large rectangular blocks and generous green spaces between buildings. The layout is compact and self-contained, bounded by the river on one side and forest on the others, with only a few roads connecting it to Tomsk.
The city was founded in the late 1940s alongside the Siberian Chemical Combine, a major nuclear industrial complex, and for decades it did not appear on public maps. Known then only as Tomsk-7, it received its current name in 1992 and remains a closed administrative territory, where entry requires special permission.
Its streets were designed in a single campaign, which shows in the consistency of the plan: axial avenues, regular microdistricts and a clear civic centre. A Seversk map poster gives visibility to a city that was once deliberately left off the page, and makes a thoughtful piece for people who grew up or worked behind its checkpoints.

Tom River edge
The river runs along one side of the city, its broad channel and floodplain forming a soft natural boundary against the rigid street grid.
Forest boundary
Dense forest surrounds much of the city, so the built-up area ends sharply, giving the map a clean outline that emphasises its planned, self-contained character.

为什么选 Seversk
一张有意义的地图
Residents of closed cities often feel a particular attachment to them, shaped by a shared history and a sense of separateness. A map of Seversk honours that experience, and its disciplined layout gives it a strong, architectural presence on a wall.
Personalise the title with the city's name or its former designation, add a year in the subtitle, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available, with Blueprint echoing the technical history of the place, and prints ship from partners in 30+ countries.
