Field lattice
Long, narrow fields divided by straight tracks and ditches cover the surrounding plain. They create a fine lattice that fills most of the poster.

关于地图
Longchi Map Poster & Print
Longchi lies in northern Shandong, in the low country of the Weifang area, a short distance inland from the southern shore of Laizhou Bay. The land here is almost perfectly flat, and the map is organised mostly by human geometry. Roads, drainage ditches and field boundaries form long straight lines that meet at right angles.
The town itself is a compact grid of streets and housing blocks, with a main road running through it and village settlements spaced out across the surrounding plain. Farmland fills most of the map, divided into long narrow strips. Towards the coast, the ground becomes lower and wetter, and the field pattern changes accordingly.
Northern Shandong is among China's most productive farming regions, and Longchi is a typical example of its rural market towns. A Longchi map poster shows that order clearly: the dense rectangle of the town and scattered villages, all set in a large and regular pattern of cultivated land.

Town grid
The town centre is laid out on a compact grid of streets. It appears as a denser rectangle among the open farmland.
Scattered villages
Small villages are evenly spaced across the plain, each a small cluster of houses. They punctuate the regular field pattern at steady intervals.

为什么选 Longchi
一张有意义的地图
This map suits people from the Weifang area, including those now living in China's big cities or abroad, who want an image of home. Its strict geometry also works as a minimalist graphic.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, including Chinese characters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Each size comes as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF.
