关于地图
Mafinga Map Poster & Print
Mafinga sits in the southern highlands of Tanzania, in the Mufindi area of Iringa. On a map it reads as a linear town. The main highway toward Zambia runs straight through it, and most of the streets branch off that spine before fading into farm plots and woodland.
The uplands here are high and cool, and forestry is a large part of local life. The large Sao Hill plantations nearby supply timber, and in many places the view from above is of blocks of planted trees crossed by straight forestry tracks.
A Mafinga map poster shows a road town in a wide landscape. It has a clear central artery, a modest grid of side streets and markets, and a looser web of paths across the rolling ground. The composition is simple, and that simplicity is part of its appeal.

Forest plantations
Extensive pine plantations around Sao Hill bring straight forestry tracks and clean geometric blocks into the surrounding countryside.
Rolling uplands
The land around town rises and falls gently, and village paths curve with it, in contrast to the straight line of the highway.
