Mansfield City Map Poster & Print
Mansfield lies in the hills of eastern Connecticut and is best known as home to the University of Connecticut's main campus at Storrs. Around the university the town is mostly rural: woodland, old farm roads, small village centres and stone walls hidden under the trees. The Fenton and Willimantic rivers drain the area.
The map contrasts two very different textures. The campus is a dense block of buildings, quads, parking lots and interior roads that forms the busiest part of the poster. Around it, a few country roads wander across open space with little regularity. To the south, Mansfield Hollow Lake, created by a flood-control dam, adds a large irregular body of water.
A Mansfield City map poster tends to be bought by people whose years at UConn shaped them: students, graduates, faculty and families who lived nearby.
