关于地图
Marina Map Poster & Print
Marina lies on the eastern curve of Monterey Bay in California, between Monterey and the farmland of the Salinas Valley. On a map its western edge is a strip of dunes and beach along the bay, separated from the town by Highway 1, which runs parallel to the shore in a long, straight line.
Much of the land east and south of the original town was once part of Fort Ord, a large Army post that closed in the 1990s. Parts of that land now hold California State University, Monterey Bay, new residential areas and open space. As a result, the map shows older suburban blocks alongside newer curving streets and large, partly undeveloped tracts.
A Marina map poster captures a place still in transition. The bay forms a wide, calm field of water on one side, the dunes a soft edge, and the street network changes character as it moves inland. Marina State Beach, known for its strong onshore winds, is a popular spot for hang gliding and paragliding.

Highway 1 corridor
The coastal highway runs parallel to the shore, separating dunes from town. On the map it reads as one long straight line through the frame.
Former Fort Ord
Old base land to the east now includes the CSU Monterey Bay campus and new neighbourhoods, whose layout differs noticeably from the older blocks near the bay.

为什么选 Marina
一张有意义的地图
Marina appeals to people who value the quieter side of Monterey Bay, whether students, military families or residents drawn by the coast. Its map records both the shoreline and the way the city has grown over former base land.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps a campus year or a street address, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint makes the bay especially prominent.
