Dense central core
The oldest part of town is a tight cluster of lanes and small blocks. It is drawn in black as an almost solid mass that thins out toward the edges.

关于地图
Mau Map Poster & Print
Mau lies in Bhind district in the north of Madhya Pradesh, in the flat farming country of the Chambal region. From above it looks like a dense cluster rather than a grid. Short lanes, uneven blocks and closely built houses pack around the older core, and fields press in on every side. The town is small, and the map shows that plainly: one knot of streets in a wide, open landscape.
The strongest lines on the sheet are the roads. They come in from neighbouring towns and villages, run fairly straight across the fields and then narrow and bend as they reach the built-up area. Where they meet, the pattern thickens into the commercial streets that serve the surrounding countryside. Beyond the last houses the farmland takes over, drawn as a fine, faint texture of field edges and tracks.
A Mau map poster suits anyone with family roots in the district or memories of time spent there. Because the town is modest in size, the frame can sit close, so individual lanes stay legible and the move from a dense centre to open fields is visible at the edges of the print.

Converging roads
Roads from nearby settlements meet at the centre and give the composition a loose star shape that reads clearly even at the smallest print size.
Farmland boundary
The town ends abruptly against cultivated fields, so the poster shows a clear line between built streets and the quiet agricultural plain of the Chambal region.

为什么选 Mau
一张有意义的地图
People hang this map to keep a hometown or ancestral place close, especially when the family has since moved to a larger city or abroad. A plain rendering of familiar lanes makes a quiet, personal piece for a living room or study.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be edited, so you can add a family name or a date that matters. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
