关于地图
May Cadera Map Poster & Print
May Cadera, also written Mai Kadra, lies in western Tigray, in the lowland zone near Humera and the borders with Sudan and Eritrea. The land here is lower, hotter and flatter than the Ethiopian highlands, and the town appears on a map as a grid-like settlement surrounded by wide agricultural plains.
The Humera area is known for large-scale farming, especially sesame, along with sorghum and other crops. Fields stretch across the plain in broad parcels, and seasonal watercourses cross the land. From above, the countryside reads as a patchwork of large, regular plots with roads running between them.
A May Cadera map poster is an image of openness and order: a compact town, straight streets, long rural roads and the wide fields that define the region. It is a place many people carry strong personal ties to, and the map records its shape plainly.

Sesame plains
Large farm parcels surround the town, part of the western Tigray lowlands known for sesame production, drawn as broad open blocks across the map.
Seasonal streams
Watercourses that fill in the rainy season cross the plain in faint, winding lines, adding organic shapes to an otherwise geometric landscape.
