关于地图
Mukamira Map Poster & Print
Mukamira lies in Nyabihu district in Rwanda's Western Province, in high country near the Virunga volcanoes. This is cool, fertile land, and the district is known for farming, especially potatoes. On a map the town is a modest cluster of streets along the main road, surrounded by hillsides divided into small farm plots.
The terrain shapes everything. Roads follow ridges and valley floors instead of a grid, and fields cover the slopes in a dense patchwork. The main road through the area links Musanze to the north with Rubavu and Lake Kivu to the west, and it runs through the town as its strongest line.
A Mukamira map poster gives this highland setting a calm, graphic form. It shows the town's street cluster, the road through it and the fine texture of farmland on the hills. It suits people with roots in the northwest of Rwanda, and anyone who has travelled this road between the volcanoes and the lake.

Farmed slopes
Small fields cover the surrounding hills in a dense patchwork, a fine, detailed texture that fills the land around the town.
Highland terrain
Roads and paths follow ridges and valleys rather than a grid, so the lines on the poster curve with the shape of the land.

为什么选 Mukamira
一张有意义的地图
Mukamira matters to people who grew up in Nyabihu, and to Rwandans abroad who want a reminder of the highlands. The map shows home as it looks from above, with the road and the fields in place.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so you can add a name, a date or a line in Kinyarwanda. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
