关于地图
Nechí Map Poster & Print
Nechí sits in the far north of Antioquia, close to where the Nechí River joins the Cauca. The land is low and flat, criss-crossed by channels, marshes and seasonal lakes that expand in the rainy season. The town occupies a small area of higher ground by the river, and from above its streets look like a compact island in a landscape made largely of water.
Like its neighbours in Bajo Cauca, the area has long been associated with gold mining in its rivers, as well as fishing and cattle raising on the floodplain. Rivers here serve as roads, and the town's position near a confluence has shaped its life since its founding.
A Nechí map poster is a study in water. River channels, backwaters and wetlands fill much of the frame, while the small street grid provides a solid centre. The effect is organic and fluid, very different from an inland town poster.

Floodplain wetlands
Marshes, lagoons and side channels spread across the lowland and give the poster a soft, irregular pattern of water and land.
Riverbank town
The town's compact streets sit close to the water, forming a small, clearly defined grid amid the surrounding floodplain.

为什么选 Nechí
一张有意义的地图
This map is for people from Nechí and the Bajo Cauca, or for anyone drawn to river landscapes. The interplay of water and land makes a striking abstract image even for those who have never visited.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name or a meaningful date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint makes the river network look like an engineer's drawing.
