Dense old core
The centre of town is a close-packed cluster of narrow, winding lanes. It forms a dark, detailed knot at the heart of the poster.

关于地图
Un Map Poster & Print
Un lies in northern Gujarat, on the flat land toward the Little Rann of Kutch. The terrain is almost level for many kilometres. Settlements are compact islands in a landscape of farmland, and rural roads link them in fairly straight lines across the plain.
The old part of town is dense. Narrow lanes twist between closely built houses, as is typical of traditional settlements in the region. Newer construction and roads extend outward from this core. Around the edges, field boundaries and a few ponds or tanks break up the flat ground, and the pattern of agriculture takes over quickly once the town ends.
A Un map poster is small in scale and big in contrast. It shows a tight knot of lanes against a wide, flat, nearly empty plain. That makes for a strong graphic image in black and white, and a personal one for families who trace their roots to this part of Gujarat, many of whom now live in large cities or overseas.

Village water bodies
Small ponds and tanks, common across rural Gujarat, appear as simple rounded shapes near the settlement.

一张有意义的地图
For families from north Gujarat living in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, London or New Jersey, a map of their ancestral town is a quiet way to keep the connection. It shows the exact place, not a generic image of India.
The title and subtitle can carry a family name or a line in Gujarati, and the coordinates line can be edited. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Print partners ship to 30+ countries.
