Bayan Lepas Map Poster & Print
Bayan Lepas occupies the southeastern part of Penang Island in Malaysia, between the forested hills of the interior and the waters of the Penang Strait. Its map is shaped by the coast on one side and by the long runway of Penang International Airport, which dominates the southern edge.
The area is best known for the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, established in the 1970s, which made Penang a major centre for electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. The Second Penang Bridge, which reaches the island nearby, links this industrial area directly with the mainland.
A Bayan Lepas map poster shows a place of strong contrasts: the long straight airport runway, large factory estates with wide roads, dense housing areas, and the curving shoreline with its reclaimed land. The result is an unusual, structured image, well suited to anyone who has worked or lived in this part of Penang.

Industrial zone
The Free Industrial Zone appears as large, regular blocks with broad access roads, a very different texture from the smaller residential streets nearby.
Coast and bridge
The eastern shoreline, with reclaimed land and the landing of the Second Penang Bridge, gives the poster a strong edge against the open water.
