Creeks and mangroves
Winding tidal channels thread through the land around the town, drawing irregular, branching lines that give the map its distinctly Niger Delta character.

Eket Map Poster & Print
Eket is a town in Akwa Ibom State in south-eastern Nigeria, a short distance inland from the Atlantic coast of the Niger Delta. Its map combines a busy road network with the watery landscape of the delta: creeks, swampy ground and mangrove channels wind through the surrounding area, and the Qua Iboe River reaches the sea not far away.
The town is closely associated with the oil industry. Offshore fields and the nearby Qua Iboe terminal have made Eket an important base for oil workers and service companies, and the town has grown accordingly. It is also the home of the Eket people, one of the groups of the Akwa Ibom area, whose older settlements sit within the expanding modern town.
An Eket map poster shows a place shaped by both water and roads. In black and white the creeks become fine, branching lines that meander into the frame, while the main streets and newer neighbourhoods form a denser, more regular pattern around the town centre. It is a map with plenty of movement.

Road to the coast
Roads run from Eket toward Ibeno and the shore, linking the town with the coastline and the oil facilities near the mouth of the Qua Iboe.
Growing town centre
The central streets form a busy, compact network, with newer residential areas spreading outward as the town has expanded alongside the local economy.

Eket is home to long-established local families and to many who arrived for work in the oil sector and stayed for years. For both, the map is a quiet reminder of a particular stretch of the Nigerian coast.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files arrive as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs in six sizes.
