Plain-side grid
The central streets run in a largely orderly pattern. That reflects the flat ground of the Golestan plain, where little stood in the way of straight roads.

Kalāleh Map Poster & Print
Kalāleh sits in the northeast of Golestan province in Iran, on the open plain long associated with Turkmen communities. From above, the town is compact. Its streets form a fairly regular pattern set against farmland that stretches out in broad, even parcels.
To the south and east the land begins to lift toward wooded hills, the edge of the green belt that separates the Caspian lowlands from the drier interior. On a detailed map, this shift shows in how roads start to bend and follow contours, where on the flat ground they run straight.
A Kalāleh map poster captures the town in clean monochrome: the central streets, the roads heading toward neighbouring towns, and the geometry of the fields around them. It is a restrained, clear image of a town shaped by open agricultural land.

Field geometry
Agricultural parcels surround the town in long, regular shapes. They give the outer edges of the map a quiet, textile-like rhythm.
Toward the hills
Beyond the town, roads begin to curve as the land rises toward forested uplands. It is a subtle change in line that the poster records faithfully.

For people from Golestan or families with ties to the Turkmen Sahra, this map is a way to keep home close. It also suits anyone drawn to the calm order of plains towns seen from above.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps a family name or a year that matters. Then pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
