Roadside settlement
Houses line the roads and lanes instead of forming a dense centre, so the map shows long, branching strands of development and not a single core.

Kampong Kadok Map Poster & Print
Kampong Kadok is a settlement in Kelantan, in the far northeast of peninsular Malaysia, south of the state capital, Kota Bharu. It lies on the broad, flat plain that stretches inland from the South China Sea coast. From above, it looks less like a compact town than a spread of houses along roads and lanes, with gardens, orchards and fields filling the gaps between them.
This dispersed pattern is typical of rural Kelantan, where the kampung, or village, follows roads and waterways and does not form tight blocks. The plain is laced with small drains and irrigation channels, and the rice-growing land around it creates a patchwork that changes with the seasons. On a map, the road network is the clearest structure in an otherwise soft landscape.
A Kampong Kadok map poster brings out that open, linear character. Main roads run across the sheet as firm lines, lanes branch from them like twigs, and the fields between read as calm, light space. It is a quiet image of a place where home and farmland are closely mixed, well suited to someone who grew up there.

The coastal plain
The land here is almost completely flat, so nothing interrupts the lines of the roads. The map has an even, spacious rhythm from edge to edge.
Channels and fields
Small drains and irrigation channels divide the surrounding farmland into irregular parcels, adding a fine secondary texture beneath the main roads.
