Majalengka Map Poster & Print
Majalengka is the capital of Majalengka Regency in West Java, Indonesia, east of Bandung and south-west of Cirebon. From above, the town is a compact grid of streets surrounded by rice fields and villages. The land rises to the south and east toward the slopes of Mount Ciremai, the highest peak in West Java.
The regency has gained a new landmark in recent years: Kertajati International Airport, built to serve West Java, lies to the north of the town. A Majalengka map poster centres on the town itself. It shows its central streets and the roads heading out across the farmland toward the airport, Cirebon and the mountain.
Rivers and irrigation channels cross the surrounding plain, with paddy fields forming a fine, even pattern around every edge of the town. In black and white, the poster contrasts the dense centre with the open agricultural land around it. The volcano's slopes rise in the distance, giving the landscape direction.

Paddy field pattern
Rice fields and irrigation channels surround the town on all sides, creating a fine, repeating texture typical of the Javanese countryside.
Regional roads
Main roads lead out toward Cirebon, the Kertajati airport and the mountain slopes, forming clear lines across the plain.
