Mar’ina Gorka is the administrative centre of Pukhavichy district, south of Minsk. The railway line toward the south runs through the town, and the street pattern is organised around it. Straight roads run parallel and perpendicular to the tracks, and blocks of apartment buildings stand alongside quarters of low private houses.
