Old town by the harbour
The historic centre is a tight knot of narrow streets on a small promontory, set against the more open grid of the later town.

Mola di Bari Map Poster & Print
Mola di Bari is a coastal town in Apulia, in southern Italy, on the Adriatic just south of Bari. It has long been a fishing town, and its harbour is still at the centre of daily life. An Angevin castle stands by the water at the edge of the old town, a reminder of the medieval defences along this coast.
On the map, the old town is a dense cluster of narrow streets on a small point of land by the harbour. Behind it, later districts follow a more regular grid of straight streets that runs inland. Harbour walls reach into the sea, and the coast on either side is low and rocky. Olive groves fill the countryside beyond the town.
A Mola di Bari map poster captures the contrast between the tight old quarter and the orderly newer grid, and between the harbour and the long line of the Adriatic. It's an elegant print for anyone with family roots in Apulia or fond memories of summers on this coast.

Harbour walls
Harbour walls extend into the Adriatic and enclose the fishing port. Their clean, angular lines stand out against the open sea.
Regular modern grid
Inland from the old quarter, straight, evenly spaced streets form a regular grid. They give the composition order and balance.
