Tambolaka Map Poster & Print
Tambolaka is the main town of Southwest Sumba Regency, in the northwestern part of Sumba in East Nusa Tenggara. It is a relatively new administrative centre, and its map shows this. The streets are few and widely spaced, the buildings are loosely scattered, and there is a lot of open land between them. The regency offices and the town centre are gathered along the main roads.
Tambolaka airport is one of the main entry points to Sumba, and its runway is a clear straight line on the map. To the north lies the coast. The surrounding landscape is rolling farmland and savanna, with the typical dry-season palette of eastern Indonesia. Traditional Sumbanese villages with tall, peaked roofs are found in the countryside around the town.
A Tambolaka map poster is quiet and sparse. It contains a small network of roads, a runway and a lot of space. This openness is the character of the place itself, and it looks very clean in a minimalist print.

Open road network
A few main roads connect the scattered town with the regency's villages. The wide spaces between them give the map a light, uncrowded feel.
Rolling countryside
Farmland and savanna surround the town in every direction. Small settlements are spread across the gently undulating ground, and the coast lies to the north.

The poster suits people from Sumba, travellers who arrived here and went on to explore the island, and those who work in the region. The open, simple map reflects the calm pace of this part of Indonesia.
You can add a title, subtitle and date of your choice, and adjust the coordinates line. It comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the dry landscape well.
