El mapa
Addanki is a town in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, in the plains inland from the Bay of Bengal coast. From above, it has a dense centre where several roads meet, with the older part of town packed tightly around them and newer streets spreading more loosely outward.
The town has a notable place in Telugu literary history. An inscription found at Addanki, attributed to Pandaranga, is often cited as one of the earliest examples of verse in the Telugu language. The landscape around it is agricultural, crossed by the Gundlakamma river system and a network of rural roads.
An Addanki map poster shows a market town at the meeting point of its roads, with fields and water channels around it. In monochrome, the dense centre and the lighter outskirts create a natural focal point, while the rural lines toward the river add depth. It is a clear, grounded picture of the place.
The oldest streets are tightly packed around the main junctions, forming the darkest, most detailed part of the map.
Addanki lies in the basin of the Gundlakamma river, whose course and associated channels add soft curved lines to the surrounding farmland.
Several roads lead out of the town in different directions, giving the plan a star-like structure against the open plain.
