The Hofgarten
The former court garden lies next to the Residenz, laid out with straight avenues and an orangery. It forms a formal geometric block that stands out against the irregular streets of the old town.

El mapa
Ansbach is the administrative capital of Middle Franconia in Bavaria and a former seat of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach. The historic centre is small and tightly drawn, a knot of streets around the church of St. Gumbertus. The Fränkische Rezat river winds through the valley nearby. Around this core, later neighbourhoods spread out in looser patterns into the surrounding countryside.
The margraves left their mark in the Residenz, a large Baroque palace, and in the Hofgarten with its orangery. The garden's straight paths and avenues make one of the most geometric shapes on the map. It is also where Kaspar Hauser, the mysterious foundling, was fatally stabbed in 1833. Today the town is known for its Bach week and its Rococo festival.
An Ansbach map poster frames the balance between the dense medieval centre and the ordered lines of court planning. The river, the railway and the roads around the old town give the composition a clear structure. The garden adds a calm, open rectangle that works well in any of the five styles.
The former court garden lies next to the Residenz, laid out with straight avenues and an orangery. It forms a formal geometric block that stands out against the irregular streets of the old town.
Narrow streets gather around St. Gumbertus and St. Johannis, forming a compact, closely packed centre. It shows the medieval scale of the town before it grew outward.
The small river winds through the valley past the town centre. Its slender line is a natural counterpoint to the formal geometry of the palace and garden.

Por qué Ansbach
Ansbach draws people for its music festivals, its palace and its quiet Franconian streets. Many American families know it from time at the local US Army garrison. A map poster turns that connection into something lasting, a reminder of a posting, a student year or a hometown.
The title and subtitle can carry a name, a date or a short phrase, and you can keep or change the coordinates line. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download 300 DPI PNG and PDF files for $9, or order a print and frame from a partner near you.
