Railway lines
The tracks of the Yegorshino junction cross the town in long, straight strokes. They are the most striking geometric feature on the map and a reminder of how the town began.

El mapa
Artëmovskiy is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, east of the Ural ridge. It grew from the settlement around the Yegorshino coal deposits and railway station. It later took its name from the revolutionary known as Artyom. From above, its layout still reflects that working origin, with residential quarters arranged around rail infrastructure and former industrial ground.
The map shows a town of mixed textures: tighter blocks near the centre, looser streets of low houses at the edges, and railway tracks drawing long, straight lines through it all. Forest and small rivers surround the town and soften its outline. That is typical of the landscape of the eastern Urals.
An Artëmovskiy map poster reduces this to pure line work. Streets, tracks and waterways appear in black on a white ground. It is a clear portrait of a town built by coal and the railway, suited to a wall where a plain, honest image fits best.
The tracks of the Yegorshino junction cross the town in long, straight strokes. They are the most striking geometric feature on the map and a reminder of how the town began.
Denser blocks near the centre give way to the looser streets of private houses. Together they give the print a varied and readable texture.
Woodland and small rivers ring the town. On the poster they read as soft, open space around the defined edge of the streets.
