El mapa
Barauni lies in the Begusarai district of Bihar, on the northern side of the Ganges. It is best known for the Barauni Oil Refinery, commissioned in the 1960s, and for the fertiliser and power plants that followed. Together they made the town one of Bihar's main industrial centres. On a map these large sites appear as big, clearly outlined blocks among the smaller residential streets.
Barauni is also an important railway junction, where several lines meet and cross. The rail tracks cut long lines through the map and connect the town with the wider region. A little to the south, Rajendra Setu, opened in 1959, carries road and rail traffic across the Ganges and was the first bridge over the river in Bihar.
A Barauni map poster brings together the industrial complexes, the rail junction, the residential areas and the river crossing. The composition shows how industry and transport have shaped the town, with the broad Ganges plain providing an open backdrop.
The oil refinery covers a large area with a distinctive internal layout. On the map it forms a strong geometric block beside the town's streets.
Several railway lines meet at Barauni, spreading outward in long, straight strokes. They give the poster a sense of movement and connection.
The historic road and rail bridge crosses the Ganges nearby. It provides a key link across the river and a clear point of reference on the map.

Por qué Barauni
The map suits people who worked at the refinery or grew up in its townships, and anyone who has crossed the Ganges on Rajendra Setu. Add a custom title and subtitle, such as a year or township name, and keep the coordinates line.
Blueprint suits the industrial layout, turning it into a technical drawing, while Classic black & white stays simple. The $9 digital download includes six sizes, including A3 and A2, as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF. A framed matte print is also available.
