El mapa
Bohumín is a town in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, right on the border with Poland. The Oder and Olza rivers meet nearby, and their meandering courses, with oxbows and riverside woodland, define the northern and eastern edges of the map.
The town grew as a railway hub, and it shows: tracks converge from several directions on a large station and freight yard, cutting the town into sections. Around them lie residential streets, industrial sites and the older core of the original settlement a short distance away.
A Bohumín map poster reflects this mix of rivers, rails and industry. Bohumín station has long been a major junction on routes linking Vienna, Kraków and Warsaw, and the fan of tracks stands out strongly in black and white against the curves of the rivers.
Lines from several directions meet at Bohumín station, and the wide fan of tracks and sidings is one of the most striking elements of the map.
Two rivers meet at the border, their winding channels, oxbow lakes and floodplain woods forming a soft natural edge to the town.
The frontier with Poland runs along the rivers, so the map shows two countries facing each other across water and open floodplain.

Por qué Bohumín
Bohumín appeals to railway enthusiasts, to people from Silesia, and to anyone who has changed trains here on a long journey across Central Europe. The map turns an industrial junction into a clean, balanced composition.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a date or route, and edit the coordinates. Blueprint gives the tracks a technical look, while Noir makes the rivers and rail lines stand out in light strokes.
