El mapa
Buckeye lies at the western edge of the Phoenix metropolitan area and covers a very large area of Sonoran Desert, farmland and new housing. Its name comes from the Buckeye Canal, which settler Malin Jackson, originally from Ohio, the Buckeye State, dug in the 1880s to bring water from the Gila River to the valley.
On a map the defining feature is the square-mile grid. Section-line roads divide the land into large, regular squares, some filled with curving subdivision streets and others still empty desert or fields. Interstate 10 crosses the city east to west, and the Gila River, usually dry, runs along the southern side.
Buckeye is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, and a Buckeye map poster records it at a moment of change. The grid, the river and the mountains at the edges give a large, open composition with a strong sense of scale.
Section-line roads divide the land into square-mile blocks, a pattern that runs across the whole city and holds together neighbourhoods, farms and desert.
The river's broad, braided channel runs along the south of the city, a soft, irregular band against the strict grid.
Inside the grid squares, new neighbourhoods use winding streets and cul-de-sacs, creating intricate patterns that contrast with the straight arterial roads.

Por qué Buckeye
Many people moving to Buckeye are starting something new, a first home or a fresh chapter in Arizona. A map with the move-in date on it is a fitting way to mark that.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the desert particularly well.
