El mapa
Çay lies in Afyonkarahisar province, in western-central Anatolia, where a wide agricultural plain meets the slopes of the Sultan Mountains to the south-east. The town spreads across this transition, with a compact centre and roads extending across the flat land toward neighbouring towns and villages.
Nearby, Lake Eber appears on the map as a large, shallow body of water fringed by reeds and wetland. A Çay map poster shows the town in relation to this lake and the plain, a setting that has supported agriculture in the region for centuries.
The town preserves a Seljuk-era madrasa from the late thirteenth century, one of the monuments that mark the historic routes crossing Anatolia. On the map, the old centre sits among later streets and larger blocks, and major roads pass nearby, linking Çay to Afyonkarahisar and routes toward Konya.
The broad, shallow lake lies near the town, its reed-lined edges forming a large, soft shape on the map that contrasts with the straight lines of farmland.
The Sultan Mountains rise to the south-east, and the town sits where the plain meets their lower slopes, giving the map a clear sense of terrain.
A thirteenth-century madrasa stands in the older part of town, part of the historic core surrounded by later residential and commercial streets.

Por qué Çay
For families from Afyonkarahisar and travellers along the Anatolian routes, Çay has a particular setting between lake and mountains. A map captures that setting with quiet precision.
The title and subtitle can be written in Turkish or English, with a name or date. Classic black and white keeps the lake and streets sharp, while Sand gives the Anatolian plain a warm, soft tone.
