El mapa
Seen from above, Hà Đông reads as the point where Hanoi's inner fabric starts to loosen toward the southwest. Tight clusters of lanes and alleys sit between broad roads that run in straight lines toward the city centre. Newer residential blocks, laid out on more regular plots, fill the gaps. The result is a map with two textures side by side: fine-grained older neighbourhoods and the cleaner geometry of recent development.
Hà Đông was the seat of the former Hà Tây province until 2008, when the province was merged into Hanoi. Since then it has been an urban district of the capital. The Nhuệ River winds through it, a thin line that bends against the rigid road grid. Vạn Phúc, known for centuries for its woven silk, is also part of the district, and its compact village core stands out among the wider streets around it.
A Hà Đông map poster shows that mix plainly, with no colour to distract from the lines. Main roads become firm strokes and lanes turn into delicate hatching. The river adds one soft curve across the composition. For anyone who lives here, commutes into Hanoi from here, or grew up when the town was still a provincial capital, the layout carries its own story of growth and change.

Long, straight roads run northeast toward central Hanoi and give the map a clear direction. The elevated Cát Linh–Hà Đông metro line follows this same corridor into the city.
The old silk-weaving village keeps a compact, close-knit street pattern. At poster scale it shows up as a small, dense patch among the broader blocks of the modern district.

Por qué Hà Đông
Hà Đông is a place many people remember by its changes: provincial town, then district, then a busy link on the metro. A map of its streets keeps that geography in one frame. It suits a first home, a family history in the district, or a daily route into the capital.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the Vietnamese spelling, a street name or a date. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as HD digital files for $9 or as a printed poster, with an optional wooden frame.
