It runs east to west through the rowhouse blocks between the Georgia Avenue area and the streets that lead toward North Capitol. On a map it looks exactly like what it is: one steady line crossing a dense residential grid. Shops, churches and small businesses sit along the line, with quieter blocks packed in on either side.
