Yangtze riverbank
The broad river runs along the town, and its curving shoreline gives the poster a bold, flowing edge that frames the streets beside it.

El mapa
Lidu Map Poster & Print
Lidu lies on the Yangtze River in Chongqing, within the Fuling area in the east of the municipality. As in much of this region, the land rises quickly from the water. The town's streets follow the riverbank and then climb onto the slopes and ridges above, leaving the steepest ground as green space.
The area has developed quickly in recent years, and wide planned roads and large residential blocks now sit beside older streets closer to the river. The Yangtze is broad and powerful here, and it gives the whole map its main shape, a sweeping curve that frames the town along one side.
A Lidu map poster shows where river, hills and new city meet. The Yangtze forms a strong band of water, the streets bend to the terrain, and the newer districts add longer, straighter lines. In monochrome, the relationship between the river and the growing town is especially clear.

Hillside streets
Roads wind up from the waterfront onto the slopes, following the contours of the land and forming irregular, organic patterns on the map.
New districts
Wide planned avenues and large blocks mark recent growth. Their straight lines contrast with the older streets closer to the water.
