El mapa
Seen from above, Pataskala looks more like a stretch of countryside than a compact town. Long, straight rural roads divide the land into large rectangles, and the blocks between them fill in with farm fields, tree lines and scattered cul-de-sac neighbourhoods. The older centre is a tighter cluster of short streets. Beyond it, the map opens out quickly into the wide, regular pattern typical of central Ohio.
Pataskala sits in Licking County, east of Columbus. The historic National Road, now US 40, crosses the area from east to west, and Interstate 70 runs to the south. A small river, the South Fork of the Licking River, winds through the town. On paper that loose, curving line makes a clear contrast with the straight section roads laid out around it.
A Pataskala map poster shows both halves of the place: the small-town core and the open land around it that has slowly been filling in with homes. In black and white, the gaps between roads matter as much as the roads themselves. They leave pale open ground that gives the composition room, much as the landscape does in person.

US 40 follows the route of the historic National Road through the area. It draws a firm east–west line across the poster and connects the town centre with the countryside on either side.
The river's loose, meandering course cuts across the orderly grid. It adds the one soft, irregular line to a map that is otherwise mostly straight edges and corners.

Por qué Pataskala
Pataskala tends to mean something to people who know it personally: people who grew up on its quiet roads, who moved out from Columbus for more space, or who still think of a particular house near the fields. A clean map of the town is a modest reminder of that everyday landscape.
You can personalise the poster with your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, whether that's a family name, a move-in date or the address of a first home. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
