The Sarno river
A single winding line runs straight through town. It divides the street network and ties Scafati to the wider valley that drains toward the Gulf of Naples.

El mapa
Scafati Map Poster & Print
Scafati lies in the flat, fertile valley of the Sarno, one of the most intensively farmed plains in southern Italy. The river crosses the town on its way to the Gulf of Naples, and on a map it acts as a clear seam. The older streets are grouped close to its banks, and newer blocks spread outward into what were once fields.
The surrounding pattern is striking from above: narrow plots, greenhouses and farm lanes laid side by side, broken by roads toward Pompei, Angri and San Marzano sul Sarno. Scafati borders Pompei, and the ancient site lies a short distance to the west. The land around the town belongs to the growing area associated with San Marzano tomatoes.
A Scafati map poster is a portrait of a town shaped by farming and water. It has tight, irregular streets at the core, a river line cutting through, and a looser web of lanes that fades toward the volcanic plain. It is a quiet, detailed composition rather than a postcard view, and it rewards a close look at large sizes.

Farm-plot mosaic
Around the built-up area, long narrow parcels and access tracks create a fine, repeating texture, the signature of a plain that is still intensively cultivated.
Neighbour to Pompei
The western edge of the map meets Pompei, so the poster sits inside one of the most studied landscapes of the ancient world, even though the frame stays on Scafati itself.

Por qué Scafati
Un mapa con significado
It suits anyone with family roots in the Agro Nocerino-Sarnese, or who remembers the town from summers near Pompei and the coast. With river and fields pressed close to the streets, the layout is personal in a way a tourist view rarely is.
Add a family name or a year to the title, then keep or rewrite the coordinates line, and pick one of five styles. Sand and Paper suit the farmed plain. Noir makes the river line stand out sharply against the dark ground, and Classic black & white and Blueprint keep it crisp.
