Shirhatti Map Poster & Print

Shirhatti is a taluk town in Gadag district in northern Karnataka. It lies on the wide, gently rolling Deccan plains, where dark cotton soils and large open fields surround scattered settlements. The town itself is a dense knot of narrow lanes, with roads running out in several directions to neighbouring villages and to Gadag.

The town is known for the Fakireshwar Mutt, a religious institution respected across communities in the region and often mentioned as an example of harmony between Hindu and Muslim traditions. On a map, the old core around such institutions shows up as the tightest part of the street network.

A Shirhatti map poster shows that dense centre against a background of open agricultural land. The pattern of lanes, the main roads and the surrounding fields together make an understated, balanced sheet, well suited to anyone with roots in this part of Karnataka.

01

Dense old lanes

The oldest part of town is a close-knit web of narrow streets. It reads as the darkest, most detailed area on the poster.

02

Radiating roads

Main roads run out towards Gadag and the surrounding villages, giving the town a clear star-like structure within the countryside.

03

Open Deccan fields

Large farmed plots on the flat black-soil plains leave broad open areas around the town and frame the built-up centre.
