La carte
Al Bīrah Map Poster & Print
Al Bīrah lies in the central highlands of the West Bank, directly next to Ramallah, and on a map the two cities form one continuous urban area. Streets climb and curve along the hills, and neighbourhoods sit on slopes and ridgetops. The boundary between the two municipalities is barely visible in the pattern of roads.
The city stands on the old north–south route through the hill country toward Nablus and has long been a stopping point on that road. Some traditions identify it with biblical Beeroth. Today it is an administrative and commercial center, with government offices, markets and residential districts that have grown considerably in recent decades.
An Al Bīrah map poster shows the dense center alongside hillside districts whose streets follow the contours, winding around slopes rather than forming a grid. The result is an irregular, organic design, detailed and expressive. It captures a highland Palestinian city shaped as much by terrain as by planning.

Hillside streets
Roads curve around the slopes and ridges of the central highlands. The flowing lines and irregular blocks give the poster a strong sense of movement.
Nablus road
The main road north toward Nablus passes through the city. This long axis connects the center to the wider hill country of the West Bank.
