Hilltop old quarter
Tight, winding lanes climb to the church square at the summit, forming a knot of short streets that stands out clearly against the looser blocks around it.

Altea Map Poster & Print
Altea sits on the Costa Blanca between Benidorm and Calp. On a map the town rises from the shoreline to a compact hilltop core. The narrow lanes of the old quarter follow the contours around the church at the summit, and newer streets spread out along the flatter ground by the sea.
The church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo, with its blue-tiled domes, marks the top of the old town and is the image most people link with Altea. Below it, the waterfront runs in a long, gentle curve of pebble beaches. The marina and fishing harbour break that curve with straight breakwaters.
An Altea map poster shows the town the way the coast shapes it. The dense hill quarter, the grid of the lower town, the thin line of the seafront and the Algar valley opening to the north all fit inside one frame. The mountain slopes inland give the edge of the print its texture.

Curving seafront
The shoreline bends in a long arc of pebble beaches and promenade. In black and white it reads as one clean stroke between the town and the open water.
Harbour breakwaters
The marina and fishing port add sharp geometric arms to the soft coastline, a useful contrast to the organic streets of the old town above.

Pourquoi Altea
Une carte qui a du sens
Altea is the kind of place people return to summer after summer, and a map keeps the whole town in view: the walk up to the church, the café by the harbour, the beach you always chose. It suits a hallway or a room that gets morning light.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a wedding, a family house or a first visit. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files or order a framed print.
