Black Forest edge
To the east, roads wind up into the wooded hills of the Black Forest, forming curving lines that contrast with the straight roads of the plain.

La carte
Bühl Map Poster & Print
Bühl lies on the western edge of the Black Forest, where the flat Upper Rhine plain meets the first steep, wooded slopes. On a map, the town has a clear two-part structure: a compact centre and residential districts on the level ground, and roads winding east into the hills, where vineyards and forest take over and villages cling to the slopes.
The town is famous for the Bühler Zwetschge, an early-ripening plum that has been grown in the area for generations and gives its name to a local festival. The A5 autobahn runs past the town on the plain, and the heights above are known for the Bühlerhöhe hotel and the Schwarzwaldhochstraße scenic road.
A Bühl map poster captures that transition from plain to mountain. Straight roads and farmland fill the western side, the town centre forms a dense core, and roads coil upward into the forest on the eastern side. In monochrome, it becomes a striking study of one landscape turning into another.
