La carte
Cricklewood Map Poster & Print
Cricklewood lies in northwest London, where the boroughs of Barnet, Brent and Camden meet. Its spine is the Edgware Road, which here follows the route of Roman Watling Street in a long, dead-straight line. Cricklewood Broadway forms the local high street, and from above the neighbourhood is a close pattern of Victorian and Edwardian terraces on either side.
The Midland Main Line and its railway sidings run just to the west, a wide band of tracks that has shaped the area since the nineteenth century. Cricklewood also has an aviation past: Handley Page built aircraft here in the early twentieth century, and the area once had its own aerodrome. Gladstone Park, on a hill, offers long views over London.
A Cricklewood map poster captures a very London kind of place: a Roman road running through Victorian streets, rail lines slicing across them and a large park on the rise. The straight line of the Broadway gives the composition a strong axis, and the terraced streets fill the space around it in tight, parallel rows.

Pourquoi Cricklewood
Une carte qui a du sens
Cricklewood is often where people find their first London flat or raise a family in a terrace off the Broadway. A map of those streets is a personal record of a particular London life, and it suits a narrow hallway or kitchen wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle with your street, postcode or the year you moved in, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
