Town grid
The centre follows a fairly regular block pattern that loosens toward the edges, where streets begin to curve with the rolling ground.

Curitibanos Map Poster & Print
Curitibanos lies in the uplands of central Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil. The land here is higher and cooler than on the coast. It is rolling country with farmland, pastures and remnants of the araucaria forest that once covered much of the plateau. On the map, the town appears as a compact grid of streets set among wide open fields.
Main roads lead out of town in several directions and link it with other plateau towns. Small streams and patches of woodland break up the surrounding farmland. The town serves as a centre for the agricultural region around it, and its layout reflects that role: a busy core, with residential streets thinning out toward the countryside.
A Curitibanos map poster shows a town in its landscape, with the street grid in the middle and the open plateau all around. In black and white, the soft lines of streams and field edges contrast with the regular blocks of the centre. It makes a calm and personal image of a place that most maps only show as a dot.

Plateau farmland
Fields and pastures surround the town on all sides. They give the map a wide, open margin that emphasises the upland setting.
Streams and woods
Small watercourses and wooded patches wind between the fields and add fine, irregular lines to the countryside around the town.
