Glems valley
The Glems winds through the town as a thin line of water and green space. The older streets follow it, and the newer districts look down on it from the slopes.

Ditzingen Map Poster & Print
Ditzingen lies just northwest of Stuttgart in the district of Ludwigsburg, where the city's suburbs give way to farmland. The small river Glems runs through the town in a shallow valley, and the historic centre sits beside it, with a castle and churches close together. Around this core, later housing areas spread across the slopes, and larger industrial blocks occupy the edges near the main roads.
The town is best known as the headquarters of Trumpf, a family-owned maker of machine tools and industrial lasers that operates worldwide. Ditzingen also includes the villages of Heimerdingen, Hirschlanden and Schöckingen, each with its own compact core surrounded by fields, so the municipality forms a cluster rather than one continuous built-up area.
A Ditzingen map poster shows that structure clearly: a winding river line, a dense older centre, the regular rows of postwar neighbourhoods and the large rectangular footprints of industry. It is a practical, well-ordered map, typical of the Stuttgart region, and it holds together neatly on a single sheet.

Old centre
Near the river, the historic core forms a small cluster of irregular streets around the castle and churches. It stands apart from the straighter layout of the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Industrial edge
Large rectangular plots on the outskirts hold manufacturing and logistics sites, including the Trumpf campus. On the map they read as broad, simple blocks.

Pourquoi Ditzingen
Une carte qui a du sens
Ditzingen suits people who live and work in the area, including many who have built careers in its industries, as well as those who grew up here before moving on. The map works in an office as easily as in a living room.
Change the title and subtitle, perhaps to mark a move or an anniversary, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, including Blueprint, which suits an engineering town. Order the digital files for $9 or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
