Through roads
The main roads cross the town and connect it to the rest of Adamawa and neighbouring states. They are the backbone of the composition.

La carte
Gombi Map Poster & Print
Gombi is the headquarters of a local government area in the north of Adamawa State, in northeastern Nigeria. The surrounding country is open savanna with farmland, seasonal streams and scattered rocky high ground. On the map, the town is a spread of compounds and lanes gathered around the roads that pass through it.
Like many towns in the region, Gombi's layout grew around movement and trade rather than a formal plan. The main roads are the most prominent features. Irregular, short streets branch off them and fill the gaps between household compounds. Toward the edges, the network thins out into footpaths and field tracks that fade into the countryside.
A Gombi map poster is a simple, honest image: a handful of strong routes, a dense but informal core and wide open land beyond. With no ornament, the structure of the town becomes the whole point, drawn in fine black lines on a white ground.

Compound lanes
Between the main roads, a web of short, irregular lanes separates household compounds. It creates a dense, hand-drawn texture at the centre of the map.
Savanna edges
At the outskirts, tracks and footpaths lead into farmland and open bush. The lines become sparse and leave white space around the town.
