Igbara-Odo Map Poster & Print
Igbara-Odo is a town in Ekiti State, in the upland country of south-western Nigeria. The landscape here is rolling, with granite outcrops and wooded valleys, and the town has grown along roads that follow the terrain. From above, the centre appears as a denser cluster of streets, with lower-density housing extending outward along the main routes.
The street pattern is organic rather than planned. Roads bend where the ground rises or where older paths once led, and compounds and plots fill the spaces between them. The Igbara-Odo map poster captures that informal structure, where the town reads as a network of branches rather than a grid.
Beyond the built-up area, farmland and patches of forest surround the town, typical of the Ekiti uplands. In black and white, these open areas give the drawing breathing room and make the central cluster stand out. It is a quiet, balanced composition that reflects a place shaped by its setting.
