Road-lined villages
Houses stand in continuous rows along the lanes, so each road appears on the map as a thick band with open fields on either side.

Kedungwaru Map Poster & Print
Kedungwaru is a district in Tulungagung Regency, East Java. It lies right next to the regency's main town, on the wide agricultural plain of the Brantas basin. On a map, there is no sharp line between town and village here. Clusters of houses sit along the roads, separated by irrigated rice fields laid out in long narrow plots.
The road network is the main feature of the drawing. Main routes lead toward Tulungagung town, and smaller lanes branch off between the villages, each lane lined with houses and gardens. With volcanic highlands on the horizon and a river system feeding the fields, this is a typical landscape of inland East Java.
A Kedungwaru map poster is mostly for people who know the place: families from its villages, those who grew up there and moved to the cities, or anyone with ties to Tulungagung. Drawn in monochrome, the alternating settlement and field makes a gentle, even pattern with no single dominant landmark.

Rice field strips
Between the settlements, irrigated fields are divided into narrow plots. They give the map a fine grain typical of the Brantas lowlands.
Edge of Tulungagung
On the town side, the district's lanes merge into the denser streets of Tulungagung itself, and the pattern becomes noticeably tighter.

Pourquoi Kedungwaru
Une carte qui a du sens
A Kedungwaru poster is a personal choice, a map of home and not a tourist image. The even rhythm of lanes and fields makes a calm wall print that suits a family room or a study far from East Java.
Add a family name, a village name or a date to the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates to a particular house. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Check the free watermarked preview first.
