Edge of Baku
The streets of Khirdalan run directly into the western suburbs of the capital, so the poster shows a clear urban continuity rather than a separate town.

La carte
Khirdalan Map Poster & Print
Khirdalan lies on the Absheron Peninsula just west of Baku, and on the map its streets run almost directly into those of the capital. It is the administrative centre of the Absheron District, and much of its growth is recent, so the plan combines older low-rise neighbourhoods with newer residential blocks and roads laid out on open land.
The surrounding landscape is dry and flat, with few natural features to bend the streets, and major roads towards Baku and the rest of the peninsula form the main structure. Industrial sites occupy parts of the edges, while newer apartment districts create denser patches among the lower houses.
A Khirdalan map poster shows a city in the process of filling its space: straight roads leading into Baku, pockets of dense housing and gaps where land is still open. In black and white, it reads like a working drawing of a place that is still being written, framed by the steppe of Absheron.

New residential blocks
Recent housing developments appear as regular groups of buildings along wide roads, a denser texture that contrasts with the older, smaller-scale neighbourhoods.
Main arterial roads
The roads connecting Khirdalan with Baku and the rest of the peninsula form strong lines across the map, giving structure to the otherwise open plain.
