Kotabumi Map Poster & Print
Kotabumi is the administrative centre of North Lampung Regency, in the south of Sumatra, Indonesia. It lies inland, on rolling lowland country planted with rubber, coffee, cassava and oil palm, and it is the trading town for the surrounding districts. The railway north from Bandar Lampung passes through it, as does a main road running up through the province.
On a map, the town centre is a fairly dense mesh of streets, with housing stretching along the main roads in long fingers. Small rivers wind through and around the town, and the land beyond breaks into plantations and clusters of villages. The railway adds a firm, gently curving line across the street pattern.
A Kotabumi map poster is a natural choice for people from North Lampung, whether they still live nearby or have moved to Jakarta or elsewhere. In monochrome, the meeting of rivers, roads and rail becomes a clear graphic arrangement that reads well from across a room and rewards a closer look.

Ribbon growth
Housing stretches out along the main roads, so the town reaches into the countryside in long arms instead of forming a neat, rounded shape.
Winding rivers
Small rivers and streams meander through the area. Their curves contrast with the straighter roads and add a softer, organic layer to the composition.

Pourquoi Kotabumi
Une carte qui a du sens
Kotabumi is a working town rather than a tourist destination, and that is exactly why a map of it means something. It records the streets of daily life, like the walk to school and the trip to market, for people who know them by heart.
Change the title and subtitle, add a date such as a wedding or a move, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper ship from print partners in more than 30 countries.
