Laitumkhrah Map Poster & Print
Laitumkhrah is one of the central localities of Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya in north-east India. It sits on the hilly plateau, and its roads twist and double back to follow the slopes. On a map, the street network looks like a tangle of curving lines, very different from the grids of cities on the plains below.
The neighbourhood is known for its schools, colleges and churches. The Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, one of the city's best-known landmarks, stands here, and several schools and colleges occupy large grounds nearby. These campuses appear as open parcels among the dense housing and break up the texture of the map.
Laitumkhrah is also a busy commercial and residential area, with shops along its main road and homes stacked along the hillsides. A Laitumkhrah map poster captures Shillong's character as a hill city, where roads bend around every ridge, wooded slopes close in, and each junction has its own shape.

Cathedral and schools
The Catholic cathedral and several schools and colleges occupy large grounds. On the map they read as open spaces among the closely built houses.
Wooded slopes
Wooded slopes and small valleys interrupt the built area. They leave irregular green gaps on the map, typical of Shillong's hilly landscape.
