Caspian shoreline
A long, gentle coastline gives the poster a strong edge. The sea stays blank, so all the detail sits on the landward side.

La carte
Lankaran Map Poster & Print
Lankaran lies on the Caspian coast in the far south of Azerbaijan, not far from the border with Iran. The Talysh Mountains rise just inland, and the narrow lowland between them and the sea is warm and humid. It is known across the country for tea plantations and citrus orchards, both unusual crops this far north.
On a map the town is framed by two edges. The Caspian shoreline runs along one side, smooth and almost straight, and the Lankaran River meets the sea there, cutting through the built-up area on its way. Inland the streets give way to fields and orchards, and past those to the start of the hills, where the Hyrcanian forests begin.
A Lankaran map poster captures this meeting of water and green country in plain lines. The coast forms a clean boundary, the river adds a single curve, and the streets fill the ground between them in a loose, practical pattern. It is a map for people who know the town's gardens and seafront, or who have family roots in the Talysh region.

The river mouth
The Lankaran River crosses the town before it reaches the Caspian, splitting the street network and adding the one natural curve on the map.
Toward the Talysh
Inland, the streets thin out into orchard and tea country, and beyond that the Talysh foothills and their Hyrcanian forests begin.
