Lüdinghausen Map Poster & Print
Lüdinghausen is in the Münsterland, the flat, green region of North Rhine-Westphalia known for its moated houses. The town calls itself the Dreiburgenstadt, the town of three castles: Burg Lüdinghausen, Burg Vischering and the remains of Burg Wolfsberg. From above, their moats and ponds show up as neat rectangles of water among the streets and parkland.
Water runs through the whole map. The Stever river winds through the town, and the Dortmund-Ems Canal passes to the east, a long straight waterway contrasting with the river's curves. Between them, the historic centre forms a compact cluster, and newer neighbourhoods spread outward into the flat farmland typical of the region.
A Lüdinghausen map poster gathers these elements into one clean composition: castle moats, the winding Stever, the ruler-straight canal and the tight old streets. Few towns this size have so much water on the map, and it gives the poster a lively balance between built blocks and open surfaces.

Stever river
The Stever meanders through Lüdinghausen, feeding the moats and giving the old centre a soft, curving edge along its banks.
Dortmund-Ems Canal
East of the town, the canal runs as a long straight line through the fields, a striking contrast to the natural bends of the river.

Pourquoi Lüdinghausen
Une carte qui a du sens
Lüdinghausen is a place for cycling between castles, school days by the Stever or a weekend in the Münsterland. Its map is full of water and structure, and it looks just as good in a small frame as in a large one.
Give it your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps in German. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Order a $9 digital file or a printed poster on matte paper, with or without a wooden frame.
