La carte
Parung Map Poster & Print
Parung lies in Bogor Regency in West Java, on the southern fringe of the Jakarta metropolitan area between Depok and Bogor. On a map it reads as a place in transition: a main road lined with shops and markets, winding kampung lanes branching off it, and larger planned housing estates set among remaining fields, orchards and the gullies of small rivers.
Like many districts around the capital, Parung has grown rapidly as commuters and families move outward in search of space. Its position on the road network toward Jakarta, Bogor and Tangerang makes it a local hub for markets and trade, while the surrounding land still shows traces of its agricultural past in scattered green patches and irrigated plots.
A Parung map poster captures that mix at a glance. The main road cuts a strong line through the composition, estates appear as neat clusters of parallel streets, and older lanes meander irregularly between them. In black and white, the contrast between planned and organic growth becomes the defining feature of the image.

Housing estates
Planned residential clusters with regular, closely spaced streets stand out as compact geometric patches against the looser pattern around them.
Kampung lanes
Narrow, winding lanes connect older neighbourhoods and villages, giving the map a fine, organic texture between the main roads and estates.
