Arabian Sea shoreline
The western edge is a long, nearly straight beach. It gives the map a clean boundary and makes the parallel roads inland easier to read.

Pathirappally Map Poster & Print
Pathirappally lies on the narrow coastal belt north of Alappuzha, where the land sits between the Arabian Sea on one side and the backwater system on the other. From above, it looks less like a town than a long, spread-out settlement. Roads run parallel to the shore, and smaller lanes branch off between houses set among dense groves.
The area belongs to the low-lying Kuttanad and Alappuzha landscape, where water shapes almost everything. Channels and small canals cut through the land, and the flat terrain means that the boundary between field, garden and waterway is often hard to trace. The coastal highway and the railway also run north to south through the area.
A Pathirappally map poster captures a layout that follows the coastline instead of a central square: long parallel lines, a soft beach edge to the west and a scatter of water to the east. It is a quiet, linear composition that reflects how life in coastal Kerala is organised along the shore.

Backwater channels
To the east, canals and lagoons break the land into irregular pieces, adding fine lines of water that contrast with the straighter roads.
North–south corridors
The main road and the railway run along the coastal strip, forming the spine from which smaller lanes reach toward the sea and the backwaters.
