The Aras River
The river loops along the northern side of the map in wide, soft bends. It is both the main natural feature and the border with Nakhchivan, and it gives the poster its strongest line.

Poldasht Map Poster & Print
Poldasht lies in the northern tip of West Azerbaijan province, right on the Aras River, which forms the border between Iran and the Nakhchivan exclave of Azerbaijan. On a map the river is the defining feature: a broad, meandering band along the edge of town, with the settlement's streets laid out on the flatter ground beside it.
The town itself is compact. A few main roads carry traffic in and out, and a modest network of residential streets fills the space between them. Around it, the landscape opens into farmland and the dry uplands typical of this corner of the province. There is a border crossing nearby, which gives Poldasht a role larger than its size would suggest.
A Poldasht map poster holds that balance well. The small grid of streets sits close to a river that is also an international frontier, and the empty space around them is part of the picture. It is a quiet, spare composition that suits a clean black-and-white print and anyone with roots in this part of Azerbaijan province.

Compact town grid
Poldasht's streets form a small, contained cluster. On paper they read as a dense knot set against open ground, which makes the town easy to recognise at any print size.
Open borderland
Around the town, fields and uplands leave the map largely unmarked. That emptiness gives the composition room to breathe and underlines how remote this corner of Iran is.
